Costume Party!!!

Last night we went to a costume party that Scott Sully, Gabe, and Carly hosted. :) Craig definitely had reservations about dressinig up in a costume so I decided to keep it simple...found two masks at the grocery store of an old woman and an old man....So I was the old man and Craig made one hot old woman...once we started getting him dressed up with his boobs made of dodgeballs...he was wanting jewelery and perfume too....we had a great time..some good costumes too :)

HIgh School Musical!!!!!

The girls were so excited that the long wait for High School Musical 3 to come out!!! It worked out perfect for the girls today...they had early release at 10am for teacher conferences...so...my little daddy of the year took four girls to the movies this afternoon. He didn't stay and watch (so no harassing the poor guy) :) They absolutely loved the movie...said it was the best one yet :)

Finally Codi's Turn :)

Codi left Wednesday for the 5th grade outdoor ed trip. It was such a different experience leading up to her leaving than it was with Carli. Carli does not stay away from home good at all...actually it was an emotional roller coaster for all of us when Carli went 2 years ago. With a "tough love" approach...Craig and I made her go...it is only 2 nights which would be good for her to get used to. She shed many tears...in fact, I ended buying the mom in her cabin a pedicure gift certificate for her help in getting Carli through it (and because she had to listen to her when she was upset)...Codi has been wanting to pack for the last 2 weeks!! She checked her list of what to bring over and over...She was up with me yesterday at 445am hoping it was time to get ready!! How do two kids from the same gene pool become so different?? Anyways...I hope our little Codster is having a great time...we miss her.

Today was such a needed day off ;) We had a great day...started at the Putz' house this morning where Craig and JJ took all the kids for a ride on the ranger...Kelsey and I went for a walk---it was so beautiful out. As we were walking, I mentioned how it would be neat to find a little mountain to climb...Kelsey informed me that since she wears her "fit" shoes (I forgot what they are called)...she feels like she is already climbing mountains. :)...My Nikes just don't do that for me!! :) After we got home, the girls and I decided to go to the mall...Of course Carli was crazy excited...I don't mind shopping but Carli lives for it!!!!!!!...Codi never wants to go shopping with us...we convinced her that we would get Dairy Queen and even look at new Webkinz for her :) She joined us...We had lots of fun and covered a lot of ground at the mall. After the mall...the girls joined one of their friends at a park to play sand volleyball for a bit...It was a great day... Back to the grind...gotta get Codi all packed for Outdoor Ed. which she leaves for on Wednesday.

Finally Fall :)

So there is finally a "crispness" in the air...this weekend was so nice out...it becomes even nicer when you get Monday off :) (thank you Mr. Columbus) We became good friends last club season with
a family that had a daughter on Carli's team. Their oldest daughter Kelli has become Codi's little hero :) She has been so good to Codi... They came over Saturday night to hang out after Kelli's volleyball tournament~~toward's the end of the night, Codi found herself a perfect little spot to snuggle up next to Kelli and doze off :) We sure hope Carli and Kayla are on the same team again this next club season :) It is all about be around good parents when you have to sit in the gym all day.

I apologize :)

I must offically apologize to Craig...I think I hurt his feelings with the OCD post :) His tidy quality has saved us many times...besides~~his strengths are my weaknesses and vice versa~~ :) They made it back safely from their ride. My boys got 2nd in the tournament....we relaxed on Sunday which was so nice!!!

At my boys' tournament...Carli and Codi were hitting the volleyball around constantly...they were sooooo sweaty!!

On Sunday when Kelsey and the girls came over...Carli and Codi got the twins doing the Wii...it was so cute!!

2 days of no OCD :)

Craig and a handful of other guys left this afternoon for an anticipated ranger adventure up at Viterbo's Ranch. So the girls and I are home alone til Sunday... :( ~~ although... the girls don't need to worry about being harassed for leaving lights on in the house, we can all leave dirty dishes in the sink, we probably won't make our beds....I'm sure we will think of other ways to rebel :) Craig will probably break out in some rash or something that will tell him that we aren't keeping everything tidy like he always does. The girls and I are heading to Tucson for my Boys volleyball tournament earlyyyyyyyy Saturday morning. Hope to be back asap...not a fan of Tucson!!!
