Happy Birthday Codi :)

Happy Birthday Codi!! I simply cannot believe that you are 12 today!!!! Daddy and I are so proud of you. Where have the last 12 years gone :( I remember bringing you home and you had your days and nights mixed up...we were up all night for the first 2 weeks ;) You have always been okay with all of Carli's hand me downs :) You are the pleaser type...never wanting any one to be sad or upset. You absolutley love animals...we have gone out of our way to distract you in the car if there is a dead dog on the roadway so you don't see it. :) You are becoming a great little volleyball player...any chance you get, you are hitting a ball around. You would sleep with a volleyball if we would let you!! You look up to your big sister and allow her to "mother" you :). Happy Birthday...you will always be my baby :)

Massages :)

The girls are proof that the games of "imagination" never really go away :) Even at 12 and 13...they get their friend together for some 'big people' lifestyle...They have gone from playing house to providing such services as pedicures, make-up, and their latest is massages. I came home from the grocery store to quite the Massage Haven :) Carli had tables put together~~towels warming in the microwave~~and soothing music playing :)

This is what the room looked like...of course afterward...they found something else fun to do...and this massage room stayed like this until the mean mommy made them clean it up :)

...yes..another volleyball tournament :)

It seems like pretty much all of my posts of the girls right now are of volleyball tournaments...I guess it is really all we do :) We had a great day yesterday!! Codi's 12 year old team had their regional tournament...every 12s team in the state. We left the house at 6:30am...and got home at 5:00pm...which really wasn't as long of a day as I expected. Her team got 3rd place out of about 45 teams!!

Happy Easter!!!

This weekend was absolutely amazing!! No where to be!!~~~got caught up on my domestic duties (I did 14 loads of laundry)...Saturday night we went over to my sister's house so the kids could dye eggs...of course I forgot my camera...so these first pics are from my phone :(

On Sunday we went over to my Aunt's house~~we used to always go to their house but once all of my cousins had kids it became too much~~My Aunt insisted that we all get together again...We had a lot of fun..played badminton and the kids had water balloon fights~~


I thought this was funny...as we were getting ready to go to my Aunt's...Carli wanted to curl Codi's hair...it all sounds cute and like loving sisters...lol...you should have heard them from the other room...Codi kept saying "you are hurting me!!" ...and Carli would keep saying "sit still or i'm gonna burn you"!! It was hilarious!!

Road Trip!!

Both of the girls had volleyball tournaments this weekend in Anaheim. Since they are on two different teams...we were prepared to have Craig follow Codi's team and I would of course be with Carli....We were so lucky that both teams were at the same site all 3 days!!! It was the Anaheim Convention Center directly across from Disneyland...so close to Mickey but never saw him :( (although we watched the fireworks from the hotel window every night). There were about 50 volleyball courts set up inside...all divided by nets~~~marginal chaos :) The girls played well...it was hard to believe that some of these kids were actually 13!!! Of course the number one team in California was in our pool...they showed us why too :0) It was a great trip...I am very grateful to Craig for driving the 15 passenger van with 12 13 yr olds...The girls had a great time with lots of laughs!!!
